How do I get the most out of André?
Log each dose right when you take it, not at the end of the day. Weigh yourself under similar conditions (same time, before breakfast) and take your progress photo at the same time, from "Log weight". Turn on dose and weigh-in reminders, and before your next appointment export your PDF report from Profile.
Does André replace my doctor or pharmacist?
No. André helps you organise and remember your treatment, but any questions about dosage, side effects or medication changes should be discussed with your healthcare professional.
Do I need to create an account?
No. André has no user accounts: open the app and it's ready to use.
Where is my data stored?
On your own phone. André has no server, so nothing you log ever leaves your device unless you choose to export it. More details in Privacy.
Can I correct or delete a weight I logged wrong?
Yes. In Progress, tap "View logs" and then the entry you want to correct or delete. You can also open "Log weight" with that day's date: the new value replaces the old one — no duplicates.
Can I correct or delete a dose I already saved?
Yes. Tap the dose in "Your journey" (Treatment tab) to change the date, amount, injection site or delete it entirely.
Which medications can I track?
Mounjaro, Ozempic, Wegovy and Saxenda are in the catalogue, with their standard doses. If yours isn't listed, choose "Other" when setting up your treatment and enter the name and dose manually.
Can I change medication, dose or schedule later?
Yes, whenever you like, from Profile · Treatment. This changes the dose for your upcoming injections; previously logged doses are not affected.
How does André choose the injection site it suggests?
It first suggests any site you haven't used yet. Once you've used them all at least once, it suggests the one that's gone the longest without being used — so you rotate automatically without keeping track yourself.
Can I add a symptom that isn't on the list?
Choose "Other" within the closest category and describe the details in the notes field on that same screen.
Why does the estimated level of my medication exceed 100%?
100% is the peak left by a single dose at your current dosage. With a weekly schedule, the next dose usually arrives before the previous one has been fully cleared, so levels accumulate — it's normal for it to go above 100% in the first few weeks until it stabilises. Tap the ⓘ icon on that chart to see how it's calculated and the sources.
What happens if I uninstall the app?
Your data is deleted, including progress photos. If you want to keep them, export your PDF report or your data as CSV before uninstalling.
Are progress photos uploaded anywhere?
No. They are stored only on your phone, never in your camera roll or any cloud service: they don't sync with Google Photos or iCloud.
Do reminders work offline?
Yes, they are local notifications from your phone: no internet connection is needed to alert you.
Does André have a paid version?
André is free. The free version includes ads. If you prefer to use the app without advertising and with access to the click calculator, you can subscribe to André Pro from within the app.
