What are the Mounjaro dosage levels?

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is prescribed in a gradual dose escalation. Your doctor decides when to increase based on your tolerance and results:

2.5 mg: starting dose. Used for at least 4 weeks so your body can adjust.
5 mg: first maintenance dose. Many patients notice the first significant effects here.
7.5 mg: intermediate escalation if more effect is needed.
10 mg: medium-high dose.
12.5 mg: second-to-last available dose.
15 mg: maximum approved dose.

Not everyone reaches 15 mg. Your doctor evaluates at each visit whether to increase or maintain the current dose based on your treatment response.
